Our Organization
International Student Ministries Canada (ISMC) is a Christian organization working in 14 cities across Canada. We have two distinct programs.
- Friendship Partners are linked with international students who have asked for a Canadian friend. These friends provide a family atmosphere in their homes where students can relax away from studies. To find out more about our Friendship Partner Program

- FOCUS Club provides opportunity for Christian students and others to learn more about the historic Christian faith. FOCUS also organizes retreats, outings and the celebration of special events.
Our Services
- Meeting students at airport
- Linking international students with Canadian friends
- Assisting in conversational English
- Teaching English as a second language
- Helping with banking, shopping, moving
- Hosting international dinners and special events
- Arranging picnics, sightseeing trips and outings to scenic or historic places
- Explaining customs, culture and Christianity
- Providing used furniture
- Offering Bible studies for interested students
